Chapter 1 - Rochers Noirs Lighthouse

Chapter 1 describes the experience of the visiting journalist from the time the Mailman meets him on the way to the lighthouse where Alexander Valembois lives.
Valembois explains that an egg for white birds he stole from the Amerzone needs to be returned. He intended to go himself but is now to old but he made everything needed to take the egg back. Then Valembois dies. The journalist commits to go as he examines the lighthouse and begins to accumulate needed knowledge for the trip. The Hydrafloat and Egg is founded and loaded into the Hydrafloat. The journalist then gets in the Hydrafloat and initiates the takeoff toward Amerzone.
