Amiga Longplay Return To Genesis

This defender clone was among the first handful of Amiga games I've played and it's based on Atari ST release. It's very short, but there wouldn't had been any point making more levels. Graphics are mostly confusing so enemies and obstacles are well camouflaged. Despite the lack of content it's fast and smooth game for it's age (though not so smooth after frame rate conversion).
The idea is to tag (or kill) all scientists in a level. Collected scientists stay aboard to the next level, but are lost with the ship when death comes. Scientists provide special abilities and weapons such as bigger guns, invulnerability and some are harmful (reverse controls / instant death). Some of them have the same abilities as the others and some abilities are unique. Some scientists reduce score while their specials are active and some of them can be "depleted" so they are removed from the selection screen until collected again.
I included the theme music by David Whittaker in the end of the video (6:56), because it's constantly interrupted during gameplay.in the end of the video (6:56), because it's constantly interrupted during gameplay. -
