This game is ECS but requires 2MB fast and probably 020+, so guess it was made for an A1200 or something. Too bad they didn't use AGA, but it still looks pretty good anyway.

I love everything about this game (except one thing), the super smooth and fast 50fps action (only 30 here on YT), they have one channel dedicated to sound so the music channels are always playing, their use of the colors (but seen better looking OCS/ECS games, like Elfmania and Ruff 'N' Tumble), the music/sound, the coding, the different unique (to me anyway) elements, like: shoot to push crates (well, there was only one) and the darkness in the caves, etc.

What I didn't like was the difficulty. It's EXTREMELY hard. One hit and you DIE and are teleported back to the beginning of the level. If you die on a boss the boss fight just restarts so you begin there, but still, you have to redo all the damage. Sucks with lives where you can only take ONE hit. It's like they didn't WANT anyone to complete it. Some places, while scrolling, no time for error, requires pixel perfect jumping again and again, in a row, fail ONE and it's DEATH. The last boss is just ÜBER hard 2000, again, just ONE hit and you have to restart. I've never used this many savestates in ANY game before.

In the beginning I planned on collecting every item I could find + find all secrets. I received and error of a file missing when the first cave was gonna load, so I had to fix that and didn't want to replay level one, so the score in the first cave will be reset as I used password to get there. Because of this, losing the score, I didn't feel like continuing collecting all items, which lead to a problem at 12:50 (whatever level that is), as I just realized that I needed to collect all marbles to open the exit, so I had to go back and get them.

Sorry about the jerky scrolling, it's because the source video (can be downloaded from Recorded Amiga Games) is in 50fps, but here on YouTube it becomes 30fps. I usually make 50fps movies into 25 for YouTube as it makes the game scroll smoother, but in this case it had to be 30fps as the game uses alot of flickering things. If I went with a 25fps version, a lot of stuff would become invisible.
