Amiga Power's Kangaroo Court - episode 1 - ambience-sabotaging loading screens
Beginning in issue 38 (June 1994), Amiga Power ran a series of articles entitled 'Kangaroo Court' wherein they would address/rant about the gravest crimes committed against gaming. Aside from venting to avert cranial aneurysms, the intention was to alert software developers to their infuriating irksomeness, hopefully steering them towards remedying their blundering misdemeanours in future.
Games dangled for illustration purposes in this inaugural offering... Kangy and Kang Fu, both for the Amiga.
Amiga Power's Kangaroo Court series ran for 10 entries, the last appearing in issue 47 (March 1995). Should anyone misguidedly find themselves appreciating my feebly amateur interpretation, I may go on to repeat the process with the remaining proposed gaming infractions. Otherwise, this will be the first and last episode.
