Perseus slays Dioskilos - Clash of the Titans movie vs Gremlin's Pegasus Commodore Amiga game
2Perseus squares up to Medusa's guardian, a two-headed wolf named Dioskilos. Ray Harryhausen based his stop-motion creature on Cerberus, hound of Hades, who is typically depicted in Greek mythology as possessing three heads. However, this was scaled back to make the animation process less arduous.
Optimus, mirroring the beast for their Pegasus platformer-shmup Amiga game, similarly did their own thing, resulting in a sort of single-headed super lion-mutt. I have no idea where the giant, rabid rats fit into this picture. I needed some extra game footage.
