I created the tonic for the man... his head is with me now. I cut it off because he told me to. I'm ready to get out of this place for good.
The darkness seems to have messed with my sanity... but I think it's going away now. Was my returning just my mind playing tricks on me? Did I die at all?
Am I dead right now? Am I in some kind of afterlife where I must complete my task?
I feel the Gold Man's presence very closeby.
