Im record this cover song on top backing track (without guitar track) with my guitar direct to audio interface using Avid Pro Tools 12. Im just EQs a lil bit to the backing track to reduce the rumble/muddy sound from already recorded bass and simple compression to master channel to 'glue' the overall sound. Im not apply any post processing effect to the guitar track.Cheers...
