The universe unfolding
And the fact that we grow old
Is an accident of time
Notes in a sequence
You decode the meaning
From waves that are beating
Upon the drum inside your ear
Without time there is no music
No sunrise and no secrets
And I wonder if we could see that
Would it be all jumbled or so clear
