An addendum to Turn Based Punch Out
0Under my own rules for this challenge. TD King Hippo is impossible. Ik Contender Hippo isn’t really a knockdown, but it’s better than nothing.
Btw if anyone else wants to try this challenge, here is all the rules I have created (at least the fundamental guidelines)
-You cannot get a KO on your opponent before being knocked down at least once
-If you knock your opponent down you have to let them knock you down before attempting their next phase
-You can win by either TKO, KO after being knocked down at least once or Decision
-If you get your first two knock downs on your opponent in one round but then the round ends before your third, you are only allowed one more knock down on your opponent the next round(s) in order to avoid entering Mac’s TKO animation accidentally by giving your opponent too many chances to knock you down
-If your opponent knocks you down before you get to knock them down it is an automatic fail and you must restart the match
-otherwise you are allowed to restart a match at any point of you feel things aren’t going how you want them (side note for rule 2 you can still dodge your opponent and get hits in during their turn, you just can’t knock them down before they get their chance to knock you down)
-If you do enter Mac’s TKO animation, you are allowed to recover from it by mashing the 1 and 2 buttons in order to continue your turn
-this isn’t per say a rule, but yes, if you can’t score a round 1 TKO or any other KO opportunity after being knocked down once, edging your opponent’s health bar in order to score a decision win is a viable tactic
