The spawn system in Black Ops, at least on TDM is very random. This leads to deaths that feel unpreventable. Here is just one example where me and some of my team spawn behind a poor guy on the biggest map in the game.

I think a system like COD4's spawn system should be implemented where players would spawn on "segmented" spawn points. While not a perfect spawn system, a good player could generally always tell where enemies would spawn and know to be on the lookout in that area. In Black Ops, it is a coin toss, anyone could be anywhere at anytime, and "reverse" spawn killing happens frequently for more aggressive players. This makes the game feel very random and try as I may, me and friends can't wrap our heads around it. Hope it gets sorted.
