The surprise prequel that no one expected to the 2017 Game of the Year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity sought to retell the story of the Great Calamity in better detail while providing players with a brand new gameplay experience, ripped from the Dynasty Warriors series.

In this video we'll be discussing Age of Calamity in its entirety and analyze everything it has to offer like the gameplay, combat system, mission design, character roster, soundtrack, story, and more! While Age of Calamity was able to deliver on quite a few of these game aspects, it had a few shortcomings that really held it back. It had the potential to be an unforgettable prequel to one of the greatest games ever. But sadly, it fell a little short.

P.S. I don't discuss how Nintendo marketed the game in this video but I can see why so many people felt frustrated by that and I feel like that was one of the main reasons why people may have been expecting so much from this game. But since I have no idea what's going on at Nintendo, I felt like I didn't know enough to talk about it thoroughly and I just wanted to keep the focus on the game and not Nintendo's garbage business decisions.
