Mick Curran and Jamie Teh met as kids at a music camp for the blind and have remained good friends. Both are also software developers who developed NVDA, or NonVisual Desktop Access, after realizing the high price of screen reader software was keeping many blind and low-vision people from finding jobs. NVDA is an open-source screen reader used by over 250,000 people worldwide.
