Analog hacking - MEMS microphone @adafruit #fromthedeskofladyada 12/5/2015 LIVE. NOTE- Please note, @ 41mm we misspoke - the R1||R2 resistance is 750 ohms. This makes the high pass filter 212 Hz, cutting off anything below that. It's that plus the 750 ohm 'load' that really 'kills' the output from the MEMS mic, as the output impedance is only ~400 ohm. Keeping R1 & R2 at 10K & 30K give you a nice cutoff of 21Hz (which is right in line with expected audio frequency range) and lets the mic give you the full peak-to-peak output :)
