Along the way, Ray will meet other characters who will join him on his journey, and together they must use their magical abilities to fight enemies and solve puzzles.
The game features turn-based battles, where players must strategically choose their spells and attacks to defeat their opponents. The game also has a system where players can combine different spells to create new, more powerful spells.
Ancient Magic: Bazoe! Mahō Sekai has a colorful and vibrant 16-bit art style—and the music is composed by Kiyoshi Yokoyama, who is known for his work on other SNES games such as "Super Bomberman" and "Lufia & the Fortress of Doom".
