This is one of those mega mods. Someone new asks "what mods should I start with?" and the response is to wow the newcomer by showing off the most flashy mods. Krodacia, Dead Dessert, Battle of Brains, Outer Space Terror, Ruined Roib, Ultimate Underground, ABliss, Suburb Shens, all the top mods with the most polished and impressive presentations.

A shout-out to all the puzzle-packs and little mods of lesser scope, for those projects are equally important. I'm serious! Not every Keen work has to be spectacular in terms of visuals. I suspect a lot of the best levels ever made are not found in any of the mods listed above. There's treasure everywhere! The number of Keen mods means there are little nuggets of gold and hidden gems shattered between the cracks of the bigger, chunkier, mega mods.

As for myself, I honestly know I will never, ever, in my whole live long life complete any more Keen projects. I've been thinking of a new strategy to combat this fatalist attitude. I have a plan. I have a number of pressing projects that need to see the light of day. First is

Canteloupe Quest: The story of Dream Keen rescuing the kids-in-chains before flicking the Dream Machine switch to leave Tuberia.

The Guardian of Wisdom: Gramps, the littlest Gnosticene, and his new friend Balmy Bounder, in the absence of Commander Keen, must save their world and rescue the council pages with just a bag of marbles.

"Becky Blaze: A Run Through the Forest" where we discover the real story behind the kidnapping of Billy Blaze's babysitter. The Bloogs have mistakenly captured the wrong female human in blue. It's up to Becky to escape the Bloog Starship and get back to earth. But once back on the surface of her home planet, will she have the strength to make the long trek back home through the spooky forest all by herself?

"Good Folly, Miss Molly" in which Molly, at risk of losing her babysitter job with Becky kidnapped, goes on an adventure of her own to save Becky, only to discover something sinister about her younger brother, Mortimer.

Here's the plan to get these projects done. Two phases: Vorticon then Galaxy. That's right. All these Galaxy projects will be adapted to the Vorticon engine and then later on converted back to Galaxy. You might think this is a silly waste of time but since all of my work is derivative this line of work makes sense to me. It only takes a new months to churn out a Vorticon mod. This will help me get the Galaxy versions done in the long run. It's going to be a long run either way. Okay. Got it. Now let's get out there are do it!
