Ancient Sadness is a piece I wrote using "sheet music" (digitally), using the software Finale 2002 (and that was the year it was composed). I've made many versions of this since then, but this is the music box version. I use the word "ancient" because I've always thought the melody had a sort of timeless, traditional sounding quality to it.
