I took an expensive monthly class for music knowledge, partly to support Andrew and partly to see if throwing a month of time to music would make me better. It did in some ways, though not the ways I'd hoped. They asked for a thoughts vid, these were my thoughts. Pros and cons below.

Pros:
-Great video content
-Learned a lot, even if not what I hoped to learn exactly
-Finally properly supported andrew for being awesome and entertaining since always
-Got a discord link to a bunch of cool people and more knowledge, even though that wasn't actually part of the monthly class and I probably could have got that anyway
-25% Ableton discount I probably won't use but hey that's nice that they did that since they had nothing to do with this

Cons:
-All benefits of small class structure are lost when everyone's busy and behind or not present at all, especially if the teacher is also too split up between multiple classes to give more constructive personal individual feedback
-The site broke multiple times in multiple ways: chrome couldn't load or upload at all for several days, projects weren't successfully submitted costing feedback, videos would buffer constantly in fullscreen for some reason, it was straight up down entirely one day
-The site had user friendliness problems: accessibility issues with links, convoluted organization in the need to use the bell to find comments (why couldn't I just click straight from email to get to said comment the email was telling me about? Why did I then have to click through to curriculum then the bell then the comment in question to finally see it? Why was trying to load it on mobile at all a trainwreck?)

I'm sure this will only get better with time especially if there are smaller amounts of people in subsequent runs, but I feel that the videos on their own with the discord link on the side would have been just as good if not better than Monthly, at least as far as my experience went. If part of what the high price tag is for is Andrew's presence, there were simply too many people and too many classes this first time for that to be worth the extra cost. I don't regret the money I spent as supporting Andrew for all the cool stuff was worth as much as all I learned and can pass on to others, but it'd be hard to reccomend overall to anyone without either large amounts of expendable income or huge Andrew fan status that wanted to support him hardcore while also learning cool stuff.
