ANIMATION - Running Kimpton
13Yep. I've started learning to animate.
I'm getting the tools gradually, but this was hand drawn on paper, and then inked before I scanned it to colour.
Then my friend Jaimetud centered the artwork to make it more seamless, and I added some comical music.
Still practicing, but I hope you like it. It took a whole day to animate just these 8 frames, but as I've never animated before, and never had classes, I think I did quite well under the circumstances.
Also, Hanna-Barbera was NOT the inspiration, this time. I've started getting my inspiration from Belvision. If you don't know who they are, they did serials of Tintin in the 60s. Their animation is kinda trippy, with lots of stretches and rubbery movements. I love that stuff!
The music is the boss theme from Tom and Jerry the Movie for the Sega Game Gear.
