0Today’s theme is Anime Saturday! 📺 This month’s anime is Vinland Saga! When it comes to making sure you have an aim, it’s best to see it through…but it goes in a different direction from the main character. Vinland Saga was created by Makoto Yukimura and released on July 6th, 2019. There have been many associations with not just similar style in the artwork but smooth animation style as well to the anime Berserk. The story starts off with a godly warrior named Thor who slaughters enemies instantly without much effort when dealing with the Danish’s invasion of England. Long story short in the year 1013AD, after constant battles that would wound up a victory, Thor and his wife (and soon-to-be-born Thorfinn) would live away from the battlefield. After the tragedy of Thor’s death, Thorfinn wishes to join Askeladd’s regime all in order to avenge his father’s death with a duel against the same man he entered with. Most of the story entails the rise of King Cnut and the fusion of kingdoms known as the North Sea Empire. As it is already on its second season and rated 92% on RottenTomatoes, this is a way to see how history unfolded in a very action-packed drama series!
