In this video, I will talk about the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.2271 and 22631.2271 for the Beta Channel. These builds are part of the Windows 11 version 22H2, which is expected to be released later this year. I will show you some of the new features and improvements that these builds bring, such as:
The new Widgets panel that lets you access personalized news, weather, calendar, and more with a swipe from the left edge of the screen.
The improved Taskbar that now supports multiple monitors and has a new Focus Assist button to help you minimize distractions.
The redesigned Settings app that has a more modern and intuitive interface, with new categories and subcategories.
The enhanced File Explorer that has a new context menu, new icons, and new keyboard shortcuts.
The updated Microsoft Store that has a new look and feel, with more apps and games available, including Android apps through the Windows Subsystem for Android.
I will also share with you some of the known issues and fixes that these builds have, such as:
The issue with the Start menu not launching when using a pen on a touch device.
The issue with some apps crashing or hanging when resizing them on a high-DPI monitor.
The issue with the taskbar preview thumbnails not rendering correctly on some devices.
The fix for the Bluetooth audio devices not working after waking up from sleep or hibernate.
The fix for the screen flickering when using HDR mode on some devices.
If you want to try out these builds, you need to join the Windows Insider Program and opt in to the Beta Channel. You can do that by going to Settings Update & Security Windows Insider Program and following the instructions. Make sure you back up your data before installing any preview builds, as they may contain bugs and errors.
