A very obscure and quite nuanced example of this.. but something that does technically exist. So going back to A1, I used to ryu stand mk vs guy to showcase how powerful throws can be vs him.. so you might be like well what about stand roundhouse.. So stand roundhouse does work as well, however the caveat is, that it is more potentially likely to lose to a stand mk if you fuck it up(again the goal is to throw anyway, so the point is slightly moot, but again we cant always be perfect), and it can wiff a ducking guy.. so there is a slight more "risk" to it lets say.. However remember we cant always be perfect and certainly we cant always throw the exact first frame that it is possible to throw, so in this situation we can kara cancel to make this option vs guy work better.
And I like using again A1 because again the game is pretty ghetto, and I like using Guy in these examples because I think he is a good character when you really disect the game he has a lot of weakness when you really think about it and put all the pieces of the puzzle together that you might not think at first glance.
