OK 3 videos into this and you know what.. I think I should call this the "no shit sherlock theory".. im sure most of have probably heard that phrase.. and thats what I feel talking about this is. The idea that yes it tends to be that the more homogenized a game is there tends to be a more common narrative, a more common enemy, something more likely to be degenerate, more detrimental, something less universally liked than otherwise.. you might read that and be like well no shit clayton of course if there is more stuff that is the same its going to be easier to find a common ground to complain about.. and my answer would be.. YES MOTHER FUCKER. EXACTLY. Thats what im saying lol. When games are more unique and characters have more special tools, its harder to find something that you all agree on because the characters are more SPECIAL. Which they should be.
