In this video we take a second look at one of the most exciting publishers around today, Hard case Crime! With their mix of reprinting vintage, forgotten classics coupled with superb contemporary authors writing in a classic noir style, Hard Case Crime have really got a fantastic formula.
This is a second look at the series and covers two great collections I was lucky enough to get my hands on.
Authors seen and discussed in this video include, Max Allan Collins, Robert Block, Stephen King, Ariel S Winter, Michael Crichton, John Lange, Ed McBain, Samuel Fuller. The Max Allan Collins Quarry novels are particularly gorgeous as they feature covers by Robert McGinnis.
A fantastic series for sure!
