I was looking around for some options and discovered this little spot. Thumpers will usually chase you from the grate onto the chute if you jump, so if you hike one onto the chute, you can run to this spot and get an easy, safe kill.
Coil heads can't grab you hear either, but they won't get stuck. It will give you some time to run away for a bit if you need it.
Spiders are easy to kill as is, but they can't get up there either.
