Anthem Demo Gameplay with the GT 730 & A8 5500
-In a previous video i paired the A8 5500 with an R9 270X. Do to the cpu being a bottleneck the fps on low settings weren't good. However bumping up to med & high (in certain scenarios) improved performance. Essentially if you got a potent gpu you can get 30fps+ but with a weaker gpu you'd be out of luck.
so to prove this i popped in the GT 730 2gb "Gddr5", which isn't strong enough to drive the game at higher settings which meant i was unable to hit at least 30fps at either 1080p or 720p.
-This test isn't a knock on the 730. I actually think that with a better cpu 720 low/med is doable. I did attempt to test this by pairing it with an i5-2400 ( a cpu i was able to play the game with when paired with a GT 1030). However thanks to EA and their stupid limit on the number of systems that can play the game per day i was unable to try it out before the end of the demo.
*Fun Fact: I tried loading the game with the Gt 1030 still loaded to make sure the game would still launch, it did but when I swapped in the gt 730 Origin decided that it was a different system and blocked the game...on the last day of the demo.....for at least a full day. At this point we'll just see how the game runs at launch.
