I've only had one Anxiety Attack ever, but it sucked. If you suffer from these, you know better than anyone how debilitating they can be.

About 15% of the entire world population suffers from some kind of anxiety disorder. But exactly, how does someone feel it?
I've got direct experience with anxiety attacks for many years and decided to raise awareness about the problem, thus trying to show what really happens when anxiety arises. Of course "the real stuff" is much more intense, anxiety attacks usually leave you shaken and without energy, and manifestations of anxiety may differ incredibly among individuals, so this represents the most common issues someone who suffers anxiety attacks has to go through. The approach is surreal, abstract, yet it tries to make you live, and describe you in detail, what it may feel like for many people. Real life anxiety is of course way longer and painful than this experience. It was not possible to make the game last years or months, or make you play it when you least expect it, so the experience tries to involve you with anxiety for an appropriate amount of time.
This is not a jumpscare game.
This is an interactive experience and its approach is very intimate with the problem yet very effective. Will you make it to the very end, or be overwhelmed by anxiety?
The gameplay is simple, yet your experience may vary, depending on how much you can handle.
Unrecommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy, heart diseases, depression, anxiety, panic attacks. Please use this experience at your own risk.
"An effective representation of anxiety" - local psychologist
"I had no fear... just... anxiety"
"Short but intense"
"It left me strong feelings about it. Now I think I better understand what many people have to go through every day. I really appreciate the effort, thanks for making this game, technically well made, good job!"
Controls clarification:
When the bar starts growing, you have to press and keep pressed Q, only release it when it turns red or a moment before.
When the bar starts shrinking, you have to press and keep pressed E, only release it when it turns red or a moment before.
You have to match your breath with the Q and E keys, you should not quickly tap them. If the duration of your Q or E press matches the duration of the inhaling/exhaling phase, you will quickly recover.
When you're struck by an anxiety attack recover is a bit longer.

I don't cuss in these videos because I am a Christian and I don't feel like that's something I should do. If you ever need prayer or conversation of any kind, please don't hesitate to contact me. =]
