BIGGEST MISTAKES MADE BY APPLE:

#1 Apple took no responsibility for keeping the lines organized - even as they approached 1000 people.

#2 The stores allowed you to buy 2 iPhone Plus 128GB - even if they were unlocked. I bought a 128GB Plus and 128GB 4.7".

#3 Apple's buying strategy is too long and cumbersome. Until "Applepay" allows you to purchase devices in seconds, it's too slow for a line with 500+ people.

#4 Apple could have handed out NUMBERED VOUCHERS as guests arrived. that would ensure NO ONE COULD POSSIBLY SKIP THE LINE. The guests were pulling in friends and family ahead of everyone else and it was impossible to keep track of who was who.

#5 there was no good reason to force people to wait till 8AM when they were camped out long before that. I got there at 12 and waited till 8. Still didn't get my phones till 10. they could have eased the lines by lining up people according to carrier.

I would have NOT allowed 2 units per person and I would have forced everyone to buy on contract - with unlocked phones sold another day.

THE CHINESE were in FULL FORCE buying up all the 128GB Plus models they could - to ship back to China. The T-Mobile models sold out immediately and the others followed. We were warned the unlocked and Sprint models would sell out immediately.

I managed to get these two on top of two Gold 128GB Plus models from pre-ordering, but I have to wait for those two to be delivered.

Buy for $980, sell on Ebay for $1500. The Gold models are fetching RIDICULOUS amounds of money $5000 - from rich people in China - shipped globally.

Apple stores took NO RESPONSIBILITY for the people camped outside and our lines were BUM RUSHED when 5 oclock hit. I'm amazed I managed to get anything.

The 4.7" by the way is "big enough". The 5.5" is too big, but I'm 6'6" and have huge hands. It's still too big. It's like half an iPad.
