Apple's upcoming Apple Watch Series 3 is rumored to come with LTE connectivity, allowing you to leave your iPhone at home and still have access to limited cellular activities like receiving emails and notifications.

Allegedly, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile are already on board with plans to sell the device.
