What is Metroid?

Metroid is a Sci-fi-esque, Action-adventure 2D side scroller (in most cases) created by Nintendo, under the Developmental eyes of Shigeru Miyamoto, Yoshio Sakamoto, and Gunpei Yokoi. Where the player must brave, and overcome both, challenges and obstacles as the Space fairing Bounty Hunter; Samus Aran, Protector of the Galaxy.

What is a "Metroid?"

A Metroid is a parasitic, jellyfish like creature created by an Avian Alien race known as; Chozo, to combat a mysterious creature unknown but given the name "X-Parasite." The metroid can harness the ability to drain the lifeforce out of any Biological, or Bio-mechanical life forms it latches onto.

Who is Samus Aran?

Samus Aran as previously mentioned is a Space fairing Bounty Huntress originally hailing from an Earth colony designated K2-L, which was under Galactic Federation Jurisdiction. After the attack on her home colony that left Samus orphand at the age of 3, the Avian Alien race called The Chozo adopted her into their civilization, and splicing some of their DNA with hers, to help her become more acclimated to her new Homeworld; Zebes
