0I wil guide the chosen king through the global version of DFFOO with the new story chapter another very hyped character arrives in Lunafreya Tenabrae the fiancee of Noctis and oracle of the kannagi with her new BT and FR weapon. Her role as oracle translates well to the game as her support based abilities will help the party alot, she enchans and imperils for water/ice and can charge the FR gauge rather quickly. Her LD grants her 2 strong buffs and depending where she stands in the party gives those buffs to the other party members as well, prayer of swiftness gives 3 instant turns to a party member and prayer of might gives a party member a similar HP dmg boost like general Leo's LD effect those effects can stack btw. As our group of heroes follow the compass of light the arrive in a destroyed city build on water, Noctis and his companions recognize the city its Altissa the city of the water god Leviathan back from their world which means someone must have been summoned. As they scout the place they get attacked by Ultimecia which by reasons unknown is stronger then before and is able to bring the heroes their knees, it is revealed soon after that she found someone which strength of memories she drains for Noctis and the other it was a shock to see that it is Lunafreya the oracle. However Ultimecias memory drain made her forget who she is and aids Ulti as off now thou Noctis presence seem to have awoken a fragment of her true self and they disappear for the time being. Noctis is determined to save her this time and they prepare a trap for Ultimecia and free Luna from her control however the timeless sorceress is not as predictable as you might think and sees the obvious ambush and summons a coeurl to her side the battle begins.
The shinryu fight puts you against Ultimecia and a rather angry coeurl which loves to inflict confuse and other annoying debuffs to slow you down debuff protection is recommended via call or by having Lenna Ignis Aerith or Aphmau in the party. the FR gauge fills through out the fight and on thresholds increases Ultimecias turnrate and in turn lowers your parties and upon reaching 100% she enters forcetime by using her recast ability instantly deleting your parties turns and give her 3 instant turns. She also does this eachtime her recast goes off which suggests a team setup that takes advantage of her taking alot of turns but, you can also rush her with your personal fav setup it should work as long as you have some dmg mitigation. You can interupt her forcetime by entering your own with an ice attack, on thresholds her recast goes off instantly so prepare for that if you plan to burn her down. Lunafreya, Reno and Galuf made sure Ultimecia wont forget this.^^
