Aqua Jet Description
A 3-D waterscooter simulator from Namco.
Aqua Jet was produced by Namco in 1996.

Namco released 310 different machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1977.

Other machines made by Namco during the time period Aqua Jet was produced include Namco Classic Collection Volume 2, Ace Driver Victory Lap, Alpine Surfer, Pocket Racer, Prop Cycle, Dunk Mania, Air Combat 22, Cyber Cycles, Dirt Dash, and Alpine Racer.

Aqua Jet is a complete reimagining of the Original Aqua Jet which was a 1996 Jet Ski arcade racer by Bandai Namco as well as the spiritual successor to the Splashdown Series which was developed by Rainbow Studios back in 2001. In Aqua Jet, you race around the world in courses built around various rivers, lakes, and some crazy stadium courses. Pull Off Sick Tricks with an Intuitive Stunt System, A wide cast of Jet Ski Riders, and the ability to create your very own with a revamped career mode.

Gameplay

Similar to Splashdown, which was quite similar to Nintendo's Wave Race series. Players take control of a personal watercraft as they race against each other on various courses. Players must pass the correct side of buoys on the way, or the personal watercraft may stall as a penalty.

Game Modes :

Training Mode

New to a game like this? This mode is useful for newcomers and beginners to help teach you basic and advanced techniques and teaches you the games trick system which will take time to learn, but once you understand it, you'll be stuntin' like a crazy skateboarder on crack!

Carrer Mode

Carrer Mode allows you to create a rider, choose male or female, customize to your liking with IRL Gear and Swimwear as well as customizing your riders' attributes, from Acceleration, Speed, Handling, Stability, and Turbo.

There are 3 Different Carrer Paths, World Tour, Stadium Tour, and Freestyle Tour. Each Tour has its own courses and locales. There are also multiple stages in each tour and Course Variations which vary depending on the difficulty you've chosen on a playthrough for a tour.
