Episode Notes:
1. Captured thanks to MAME. Runs really good there.
2. Music is from the actual game, but I chose not to use gameplay sound because of the tire screeching. It made the voice over really tough to follow.
3. While this is technically the 3rd game in the arcade Outrun games, there were others before it on home systems.
4. I strongly feel a good Sega CD version of this could be have been made. No, it would not have been exact, but I think with a little TLC, the Sega CD's sprite and background chip could have come up with a very playable and good looking game.
5. Many of the Sega System 32 arcade games remain unported to home systems. Golden Axe The Revenge of Death Adder being another big one.
6. I would have much rather have had this than Gale Racer on the Saturn. I think an engine like this could have coexisted with the 3D racers of the era.
7. I have seen some really neat setups in the arcade with Outrunners. I have seen the popular sitdown duel cabinets, single standup cabs, and even duel standup cabs. Sega seems to have had conversion kits for other arcade games.
