71In the year 2048, the planet Earth is threatened. An invasion of our planet, led by a being from another galaxy is imminent. But behold a Strider Warrior will fight alone for the salvation of the Earth! In the game, a powerful sorcerer, called Grandmaster Meio, self titled as a Galactic dictator, wants to invade Earth to take it for himself. For this, it builds to be its headquarters, between the Moon and the Earth the "Third Moon" (Third Moon). From there he guides his army during the invasion. The Earth, apparently, is impotent given the technological superior level of the enemy. However, a single Strider warrior (hence the name of the game), named Hiryu, decides to leave for Thrid Moon, face May and save Earth, armed only with his Cypher sword!
