In a time of distress, with many monsters roaming about, a wizard must make their way across the land to assault these creatures with their arcane power, defending themselves from hordes of enemies along the way. Using your map, place down towers to spawn them into the world around you and destroy your foes. But, should things get too hairy, do it yourself by casting spells and unleashing the full power of your ultimate crystals.

This got off to a shaky start as it wasn't clear what was going on.
It didn't help that you can hardly read the instructions (and not at all in some places).
None of the defence towers visually shoots anything and no indication of damage is shown. You just guess that the more expensive towers do more damage but whether they target specfic enemies is also not clear.
Once I go to the laser crystal I could not select the skip/next button so the game to an abrupt end.
