Nicole is putting Core Sets on the stack! Core Sets are unique bridge sets in Magic: The Gathering that are basic in design but huge for standard. Core Sets, before being discontinued with Magic Origins, provided many valuable reprints for the format along with giving new and returning players very simple, core, mechanics to play with. Core Sets don't share mechanics with the other major sets but instead go with the basics of MTG, making them great choices for new players.
