Are we getting a Mario Paint sequel on Nintendo Switch 2?
A brief history of Nintendo mouse games and peripherals.
Every Nintendo console needs a new gimmick, and with a console called "Switch 2" it wasn't immediately obvious how they would move the needle this time. With the now-confirmed mouse functionality, Nintendo could offer several supporting games from its back catalog through Nintendo Switch Online, while also returning functionality to its Switch ports of Wii U games that had to be removed for want of a GamePad touch screen.
Will we see Mario Paint make a comeback, or will the gameplay be folded into other existing or new iterations of other titles such as Super Mario Maker that already feature that Mario Paint verve?
