259What's On The Menu? is a game that puts us in charge of various restaurants, each with their own set of goals that we need to achieve!
Betty Cupboard makes a return to the channel as our character, a charismatic front-of-house employee who has to keep everything running smoothly.
Our initial restaurant is a little unexciting, focusing on making... salad. Yyaayy. In fact one of our salad options just appears to be a bowl of lettuce leaves, so calling it a 'salad' seems a bit much really.
As we play we hire the staff in various roles around the restaurant, we buy kitchen equipment such as worktops and stoves, we decorate the restaurant with tables and chairs and plants (very important, plants), plus we get to choose what's on the menu!
With more dishes successfully delivered we earn research points we can use to unlock different meal options, which might be more appealing and get us more money but might also require different kitchen equipment to prepare.
In this demo we then move on to the second restaurant, which is more exciting than the salad one, but can we meet the quite demanding goals?
