Many people over internet complain that updates for Linux and McOS are often delayed against windows version and what's bigger problem against server version. I'm also mad when I cannot connect to my survivor on freshly updated server. There's a solution.

I tried to run windows version on linux using steamplay/proton tool and it's really easy. However I strongly recommend to uninstall linux version first as I didn't and my steam client got to loop trying to update the game over and over.
