I genuinely love this song and I expect it to blow up on the radio, and even win some awards. We'll see how far this song goes, but I have a good feeling about it. I've been wrong about that sort of thing before, but I guess we'll see. What do you think of the song? What do you predict will be Ariana Grande's future in the music industry.


Problem is the first single by Ariana Grande from her upcoming sophomore album (Republic), and it has a similar sound to Macklemore's Thrift Shop, and it's reminiscent of The Way (Ft. Mac Miller). The song is a catchy collaboration with other rising star Iggy Azalea. The mix works, as the chorus can be learned with one listen, and Iggy Azalea's rap is the type of rap people love to learn to show off when the song comes off. It's nothing new in the pop music world, and the lyrics aren't deep or poetic, but it works as a summer jam just meant to be fun, which is what I believe was the desired design for the song. It's not quite "song of the summer (2014)" material, but it definitely could be one of the standouts. Also keep in mind that this is just the first single, and there will probably be at least one more before the summer ends. Which should deliver more fun songs since Republic was produced by German DJ Zedd. Ariana performed the song for the first time at the 2014 Radio Disney Music Awards on April 27th, 2014. 'Problem' was released on iTunes the following day, April 28th. I see nothing but success coming for this project. Problem was already in the top 50 on iTUnes before it was even released. The lyric video for Problem should be coming very soon, and the official music video should follow soon after that. As I said, Ariana Grande is getting too sexual for my taste, so I think I can be a little bit more objective about her talent now, and I feel pretty much the same way about it, hehe. She's destined to be a star. Katy Perry? Rihanna? Mariah Carey? Adele? Yeah, I honestly think she can get to those levels of stardom.
