Ark: Survival Evolved - Top 5 mods that will blow your mind! Today we'll be talking about 5 of the coolest mods you've never seen before, never heard of before, but you'll definitely want to download immediately after watching this video! Here's our top 5:
Number 5: Burlap Sack Blindfold - Adds a Burlap Sack to blindfold prisoners.
Vision is not completely disabled but very obstructed.
Requires Level 3 and 3 Engram Points.
Costs 20 Fiber to craft.
Number 4: Dynamic Fence System - A Dynamic electrified fencing system capable of adjusting both for section length and terrain height variations.
Place the posts in the normal way. A connection will automatically be made if there is another post withing 10m. Connection will be to the closest post available. A radial menu item will allow you to cycle the connection to other posts within 10m or to disconnect the post all together. If there is no post within 10m no connection will be made and the menu item will not appear. An optional lamp component can be toggled on an off providing a pool of light around the post when the fence is electrified.
When placing the colour of the preview post will change. It will be green if the placement is good and there is a post within 10m, green+blueish if placement is good and no post is in range, red if placement is bad and there is a post in range, red and blueish if placement is bad and no post is in range. Place first post as blue and subsequent posts as green and it should all connect up! Hopefully this makes building easier and more efficient. see video
To electrify the fence place a controller near a power outlet. Either use the option to control nearby posts on the controller or use the attach to controller option on a post (directly connected posts should attach as well!) The controller can then be used to turn on and off the electrification of the fence sections. An indicator on the post will glow red if it is electrified and active. Shock damage will be done to anything coming in contact with the fence, from either side, while it is active. Different sections of fence can be attached to different controllers.
Gates are electrified in the same way as fence sections..
Number 3: OzoCraft 1.7 - Cool mod that adds new and very aesthetic parts to the game to build with!
Number 2: AvatARK - The world is in turmoil as the four nations struggle for control of a newly discovered island rich in resources. Aggravated by the conflict, as well as the impending Harmonic Convergence, spirit sightings have been on the rise. Amid the struggles, the Avatar - master of the four elements - attempts to quell the spirits and maintain peace and harmony between the four nations.
Number 1: Thermonuclear Bomb - Nuke Mod - This mod adds 4 new craft-able items to the game: A 'Thermonuclear Bomb', 'Nuclear Device Parts' and 'U-235 Target Rings' and a 'Radar'.
This weapon is beyond powerful. It uses a custom script that allows it to destroy everything within a large radius, without causing much lag or other performance related issues.
The nuke needs to be placed just like you would when building a structure. After that you can access the nuke's inventory and place the 'U-235 Target Rings' inside. You will then be able to initiate the detonation sequence from within this inventory. The sequence will take some time to complete and warn everyone about the incoming blast.
At this point you can abort the detonation and remove the 'U-235 Target Rings' again. The nuke can also be found and destroyed with explosives, which will avoid a succesfull detonation.
If the detonation sequence is allowed to run its course, the nuke will eventually go off, destroying everything in its path.
The Radar is not finished yet and does not sound alarm. I will update the mod in the future and add functionality to it
The nuke can't be destroyed / deactivated on dedicated Servers it seems, I will need more time to fix this.
