Ark Survival Evolved First Time Trying Out This Survival and Crafting Game With Dinosaurs Its Good
0This is the first time I've played this game. The first thing that came to mind was Dino Crisis and Jurassic Park. Of course this game just drops you in this huge island where you must survive by gathering food, supplies, weapons, and building materials so that you can expand your skills and abilities and level up. I like that you have to keep an eye out for dangers at every corner so that's why I died a few times. lol I keep getting killed by those smaller dinosaurs. After creating my avatar which you can customize to your liking and learning the game mechanics I start really getting into it. I slowly learned how to gather materials to build axes, spears, bed and a small house. I also learned how to build a fire to keep warm and a pouch for water. In this game the environment and weather can harm you and eventually become fatal if you stay too long like too cold or too warm. I also realize that you had to cook the meat on the campfire before you eat them or they harm your character. lol You can eat the fruits without cooking them though. Your weapons also eventually break so make sure you got plenty of stone and other stuff that you gather around the area to build more weapons. You can chop down the trees for wood and other stuff. It's also useful to make some clothes for your character. The torch and campfire is useful at night because it's dark. I also heard that you can tame dinosaurs in this game to become your pet. I didn't get to do that but there are these small cute dinos that keep following me around. I don't know if they're curious, hungry or harmful. I might play this game again in the future and put some more time into it. I did enjoy it though!
