ARK Survival Evolved How to Tame a Basilisk on Xbox One Simple Video
1The baslisk isn't an easy tame. You will need the following.
Radiation - Hazard suit to live through the poison gas they shoot at you.
Low level Fert Drake Eggs. I do believe any fert egg works, but I used Fert low level drake eggs in this video. This was during 3x new years event. It will take longer for non xp.
You will need to set multiple eggs down around the basilisk. This is a passive aggravating tame. Like titanboas etc.
HE/She will not eat eggs in the ground or when being attacked by something. Clear the area first before trying to tame one of these. They Argo on anything that is cute and cuddly. If the Basilisk gets hit by another tame (roll rat) it will reset.
The objective is to use a crab or Drake. Drake is more preferred due to the Basilisk not being aggressive towards it. I used a crab for fast get aways. Basically, put a few eggs down in the area. He will not come out of the ground while you ride the crab, you have to jump off and on. Once he follows you, you need to do exactly what I did in the video. Make sure you keep them in the range of the eggs. He will lose Argo. The only issue he may go back in the ground and he will need to be Argo again.
