ARK: Survival Evolved - The Island EP1: (New Beginnings!)
34I decided to reset the previous world because I barely talked while I was recording the last one (for 10 hours btw) because I was just planning on editing over the top but I soon realised that it was pain to edit and that it just didn't really fit with the game. I ended up watching some other youtubers playlists to see ways in which I could improve and noticed that most used very little editing and just relied on talking while recording the game, so I decided to give that a try instead and see if it would work any better. So here we are lol. Let me know down in the comments if you think that this style of video is any better!
If you don't know what ARK: Survival Evolved is, it is a survival game but with a twist. You spawn on a prehistoric (or whatever time period it is) map full of dinosaurs - some aggressive some not. These dinosaurs can be tamed (depending on which one not EVERY dinosaur can be tamed but most can) by knocking them out and feeding them their desired food aka gaining their trust. Once you have these dinosaurs tamed you can ride them (there are a few that you cannot ride) and use them to your benefit - to help collect resources or kill other dinosaurs. The main goal of the game is to defeat the bosses, they are pretty difficult but are much easier with tamed dinosaurs. There is also a bit of a story but it isn't really a main theme - you can incorporate it into the gameplay if you want but I mainly play for the survival sandbox because I absolutely love those types of games.
