Below is a step-by-step tutorial for anyone confused:

1. Install the DayZ mod and beta patch manually and ensure everything works on your primary account
2. Go to Steam and right click, properties, set launch options on ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead
3. Insert "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ;ca -nosplash -nopause" and click OK
4. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\Beta
5. Copy "arma2oa.exe"
6. Go back to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead and rename your old "arma2oa.exe"
7. Paste in the new arma2oa.exe
8. Repeat steps 4-7 if you update to a new patch
9. The primary account is now setup, simply put the same launch options on the second, or however many accounts you have and ensure you launch the game through Steam

That's it, like I said, just make sure you launch through Steam, rather than using a 3rd party program such as Six Launcher. Also ensure you're opening "ARMA 2: Combined Operations" when launching the game.
