After everything that happened in the last mission, I think I could use a break, and by break I mean destroying more of the Arena roster, starting with...

Nosaac Arena profile: "An independent mercenary who snuck onto Rubicon hoping to get rich quick, taking advantage of the chaos brought about by the extraplanetary corporations' forays.
Under Nosaac's "economic theory," the funds of others are but extensions of his own resources. Thus he continues to take on debt with no intention of repayment, as in his eyes, the money was his anyway. This does have the benefit of allowing him to buy the latest in corporate technology as soon as it hits the market; he considers the power of his AC an asset to his credit score."

Aw man, for such an entertaining description he went down very quickly, which is a shame since I actually love the color and frame of his AC, but it seems like his ai didn't really know how best to utilize its weapon loadout, speaking of which, Bitter Promise's weapon loadout consists of a laser handgun, a burst rifle, a back-mounted spreadzooka, and a pulse shield, it's an... interesting loadout, to say the least, but now to move on to our next opponent, who is...

V.VI Maeterlinck Arena profile: "Sixth squad leader of the Vespers, the Arquebus Group's augmented human squad.
Maeterlinck is a product of Generation Eight, which was held to have advanced the process to the point of rendering all previous generations obsolete, bringing about a new age of augmentation.
Unfailingly loyal to Arquebus, she has a reliable track record in the field, and her conduct during missions has established her as a risk-averse problem-solver."

Time for the first Vesper in the Arena and I've gotta say, that is one sick-looking AC! Seriously, the combination of Nachtreiher and VP-40S parts along with color scheme have always made this one a stand-out for me personally, for her choice of weapons, she dual-wields pulse guns for her hand weapons, and for her back units she uses a plasma cannon and pulse shield, which meant my Arena battle with her was a clash of energy weapon ACs, but despite her supposedly advanced augmentation and alleged skill as an AC pilot she really wasn't that difficult of a fight. (I know I'm still in the lower ranks of the arena, but I'm still caught off-guard by how quickly these first two went down) But despite that, she was a fun fight, which I definitely can't say for my next opponent, who is...

V.VII Swinburne Arena profile: "Seventh squad leader of the Vespers, the Arquebus Group's augmented human squad.
Swinburne is a product of Generation Seven, the first to receive experimental augmentation using Coral substitution technology.
This granted him enhanced aptitude as a pilot without the usual complications—but with no obvious indication of either efficacy or potential side effects, Swinburne's fears and doubts turned into an overpowering paranoia, the final jewel to crown his odious personality."

That last part of his Arena profile gave me a good chuckle when I first read it, I wish I could say that the fight with him was just as entertaining, but I think I'd be lying to you if said I enjoyed spending an entire Arena match chasing after the guy while he took pot-shots at me with a grenade launcher while also being poked by his handheld missile launcher. (Why no, I'm not being salty, why do you ask?)
