Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior, lançado originalmente no Japão como Ryuuko no Ken Gaiden (龍虎りゅうこの拳けん 外伝がいでん), é a terceira e última entrada na série Art of Fighting. O elenco do jogo é quase todo composto por novos personagens, com exceção de Robert Garcia e Ryo Sakazaki. Yuri Sakazaki também aparece no jogo, mas como um personagem não jogável. Um dos maiores pontos de venda do jogo foi o sistema de captura de movimento do jogo, permitindo sprites 2D com animações fluidas e críveis. É um dos poucos jogos que também não tem uma transição perfeita para o Neo Geo CD, pois tem sprites ligeiramente encolhidos e diferentes tons da paleta de cores. No entanto, também contou com citações de vitórias para cada personagem e finais para Sinclair e Wyler. Este jogo também é o único da série a ter um CD drama curto.
