Hi friends!

A random thought came into my mind and I felt the need to capture it on film, as I had a strong feeling many can benefit from it.

In this video I talk about the concept of talent, and how I believe there's a strong misconception surrounding it.

A lot of artists get that compliment a lot: You are so talented! And I'm not just talking about visual artists, it could also be said for musicians, or even LAWYERS.

It's flattering, no doubt. But, I believe it may take some credit from the artist, in terms of all the effort and hard work they put into honing their skills, as well as into the specific piece of art they created.

And I also think this creates a confusion in peoples' heads, as to talent and what it is. I can say so myself - I don't know how I perceive this word.

But I do know that to master a skill, it takes hard work. And even if you practice in the smartest way possible, you still have a time period when you have to work hard, and actively put effort into practicing.

Anyway, these are my thoughts. I hope they are of some value to you. Let me know what you think. I'm really open-minded about this, and want to hear other opinions.

Let me know in a comment below.

And I'll talk to you soon,
