It's our first DX11 vs DX12 comparison - Ashes of the Singularity running on a Core i7 4790K and a Core i3 4130, each paired with a Radeon R9 390. We're running the game at 1080p on medium settings with no MSAA. Unfortunately, we have had to engage v-sync - DX12 seems to lock it on regardless, so we re-benched everything else to match.

Note that the benchmark does have some variances in the same scene from one run to the next, so there may be some small, very occasional 'oddities' in the graph.

Overall, we're looking at huge boosts here, but what's the deal with Nvidia performance? There's a lot of controversy around this at the moment - read our take on it here: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-ashes-of-the-singularity-dx12-benchmark-tested
