ASMR & Time Lapse Photography #1: Clouds with Tapping & Crinkling
141This is a series of time lapse photos that I captured in late May 2012 that I found still residing on my hard drive after not having done anything with them. In this particular video, the time lapse is played normal and then reversed. ASMR trigger sounds of cutting mat tapping and plastic crinkling.
I'm thinking I may do these again a couple times a month, and to make them a little less boring (even though I personally love time lapse on it's own) and a little more intriguing, I'll be incorporating ASMR into the videos in various ways. These videos will never be longer than a few minutes due to the nature of time lapse. However I just hope they will provide brief ASMR inducing moments and are somewhat interesting. It's a start, and with most of my experiments, we'll see where this goes.

You may already own one! If not, buy one cheap on the secondary market.

Background:
From late 2011 to early 2012 when I first started this channel, I was into time lapse photography, mainly of clouds (and some of my son building lego sets). I've personally always loved time lapse photography, particularly of clouds (although bugs devouring corpses always tickled my fancy as well) and it was a passion of mine at the time. At least once a week if not more I would setup the camera on it's tripod pointing out of a window and hope that the cloud formations would be worth capturing. I recorded about a dozen sessions and uploaded them here. They are all gone now, primarily due to me finding out about ASMR and the time lapse hobby somewhat fizzling out. After uncovering these photos it occurred to me that it might be fun and interesting to incorporate ASMR along with the visuals. So that's the plan going forward: ASMR Time Lapse. I may even use the clouds as a background for other experiments. We'll see.
