The Norse God of Mischief Loki Laufeyson is back and this time – for reasons they may or may not explain – they are running for the most powerful position in Midgard. And what are you doing here? Well, you’re here to be interviewed by them to become the Campaign manager! Emphasis on the ‘pain’ syllable.
This Loki ASMR is loosely based on the brand-new Disney+ series and the short run comic series ‘Vote Loki’. I’m also starting to coin a new term ‘FPC’ (First Person Cinema - I know, I'm lame). In this experience, you’ll be asked some very personal questions as Loki relaxingly writes down your responses and is never short on soft-spoken sarcastic responses. Otherwise, there’s a little bit of personal attention, some fairly chaotic ASMR triggers, and hopefully a jolly good time. Enjoy!
NB – I ended up making the crown out of cardboard and tape... the retail versions of which were ludicrously expensive online, so that’s why it’s a little… shabby.

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
